On Monday 12th July from 7-9pm, Hope for Families will be hosting another Left to their Own Devices event online. This is a fantastic 2 hour session aimed at parents and carers of primary aged children about keeping our children safe online. Parents of teenagers will also find this really helpful!
The session covers topics such as gaming, pornograhy, family values and creating a family media agreement. At the moment, when many of our children are using screens more than ever before, we believe that this is a really important session for parents and carers to attend.
Places are limited and so please encourage parents to book in as soon as possible to guarantee their place. Tickets are £7.50 and include all accompanying resources for the session (these will be delivered before the event) and our bursary scheme is open for anyone who qualifies, providing a 50% discount. As ever, we don't want anyone to be excluded from accessing our resources and support due to cost. Please do get in touch if this would be a barrier for a parent or carer attending. Please also note that the bursary scheme is not applicable for organisations, only individual parents and carers.
Please encourage parents and carers to book in directly using our Eventbrite page below. If you are registering a parent on their behalf, please ensure you input their contact details so they receive all of the info about how to access the session.
