The Foxes pupils are enjoying participating in engaging and exciting Design and Technology lessons. So far the pupils have enjoyed building mini-marshmallow and toothpick buildings as well as plastic cup skyscrapers.
Pupils in the Foxes class are preparing for adult life beyond Red Kite. This term the pupils have participated in a range of challenging activities which have built on the pupils existing skills in the following areas:
- Staying Positive
Pupils have demonstrated leadership skills through leading exercise sessions in the classroom, organising their peers by their dates of birth, height etc. and leading their peers (blindfolded) through various classroom mazes which the pupils organised themselves.
Staying positive is an important skill and the pupils enjoyed participating in a basketball blindfold experiment which worked really well and demonstrated how being positive can really improve a person's confidence.
Pupils enjoyed teaming up as a class to identify the lies being told by their peers in a game of Two Truths and a Lie and more recently the Foxes demonstrated excellent teamwork skills through working with different partners in a game of Blind Artist.
