Hedgehogs enjoyed some time in the music room creating lots of different sounds to changing light sources.
In Hedgehogs we took part in some sessions about different careers. This included a visit by the army, completing a logistical challenge to deliver an egg to Donna and a talk by the Police and Crime Commissioner.
We created our own graphic scores to compose a piece of music. We then performed our pieces of music to the rest of the class.
Big Picture Treat
At the end of Term 5, we celebrated completing our Big Picture reward with a bouncy castle, movie, nibbles and we also made fruit kebabs. Lots of fun was had by all!
Hedgehog's pupils all helped to plant in our class flower box. The plants have kindly been donated by families of our pupils and include herbs, a blackberry plant, beans, tomatoes and flowers.
Hedgehog's Trip to East Carlton Park
We visited East Carlton Park on the school minibus for our big picture treat. When we were there we enjoyed time in the park, a game of rounders and then an icecream before returning to school. The weather was really kind to us too!
In our RE lessons this term we are learning about different faiths. In this lesson we looked at Judaism and the eating of Challah bread on Sabbath days. We then represented the Challah bread making our own from salt dough.
Back to Swimming!
Hedgehog's class were all really excited to restart our swimming lessons. Much fun, floating and swimming was had by us all.
Welcome back Pumpkin and Spice!
The school guinea pigs are really popular visitors in the Hedgehog class. They have recently been making visits to our class again and they have lots of cuddles and strokes from many of us in class.
