As a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant at Red Kite you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to our pupils' lives on a daily basis.

Learning Facilitator (KS4 and 5 Preparation for Adulthood Curriculum)
Pay scale - H14 (£22,289.35)
Permanent role
Hours of work 8.45am-3.40pm daily with a Team meeting till 5pm every Wednesday
Red Kite Special Academy is part of Kingsley Learning Foundation. We are a special school catering for pupils from 4 to 18 years with a wide range of special educational needs.
We have an amazing team of staff and pupils and are looking for another special person to join our family. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, ambitious and creative Learning Facilitator to join our KS4 and 5 Team, working alongside our existing Learning Facilitator to further strengthen our Preparation for Adulthood Curriculum.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with KS4 and 5 teachers under the direction of our Lookout Provision Assistant Head Teacher and Department Leads. You will lead and support our pupils' engagement in the community, work experience and opportunities within our school setting. This work will also include leading some learning within school in KS4 and 5 and working with colleges, SEND day care providers, employers, social workers, parents and other professionals that make up a pupils support network.
