URGENT - WHOLE SCHOOL CLOSURE 11.11.2020
Advice to All Parents - Single case –WHOLE SCHOOL CLOSURE
Dear Parents and Carers
We have been made aware of a member of our school leadership team who has tested positive for COVID 19 and who has worked directly with the whole school leadership team who have in turn worked across the school and in the main office.
It is with a very heavy heart that in order to keep everyone safe I am going to have to close the school for 14 days to allow the senior leaders of the school to self-isolate. The school cannot safely operate without the senior leadership team and the medications officer and so this decision has had to be made. School will reopen on the 24th November as long as we have the staffing to be able to do so. At this stage we do not need any children to self-isolate but we will inform you immediately if this situation changes.
Class teachers will be in touch with home learning packs and we will continue to support you as best as we can.
The safety and learning of our school community remains our primary concern. Please continue to take care, be vigilant and to follow national guidance.

The most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of:
- a new continuous cough
- a high temperature
- a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
For most people, coronavirus (COVID-19) will be a mild illness.
If your child does develop symptoms, you can seek advice from the nhs.uk website at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/check-if-you-have-coronavirus-symptoms/. If you are concerned about your child’s symptoms, or they are worsening you can seek advice from NHS 111 at https://111.nhs.uk/ or by phoning 111.
Thank you for your ongoing support during this very challenging time.
