Safeguarding over the Christmas period
Details of how to access Safeguarding support during the Christmas break
The school will close for the holidays on 20/12/24 and reopen to pupils on 6/01/25
If you have a safeguarding concern during this period, then the following routes are available for support and reporting:
Call the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) helpline for support and advice if you have a concern for your own or another child’s safety on 0808 800 5000.
You can contact Northamptonshire Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to report a safeguarding concern about a child 0300 126 7000
If you feel that a child is in immediate danger or risk of harm, call the police on 999. You can also report less urgent concerns to the police on their non-emergency number, 101.
Children and young people who have been victims of a crime may need support to cope and recover. You don’t have to report the crime to the police to get support. You can find free, local support teams across England and Wales on the Victim and Witness Information site.
