Covid Information for January Reopening
Information for reopening in January 2021
Dear Parents, carers and families.
It is wonderful to have had some positive news regarding COVID-19 recently, with the news that a vaccine is about to begin roll out for some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, and that the relaxing of the rules over the Christmas period will allow us to choose to spend time with our wider families.
Whilst I wish all our children, staff and families a fantastic Christmas, it is important that our School plans for the impact that a relaxation of the national COVID-19 measures will likely have. There is likely to be a spike/new wave in the post-Christmas period as a result of measures being loosened over Christmas.
Therefore, please can we ask all of our community to be mindful of this and to NOT send children back into school In January 2021 with COVID-19 symptoms after christmas.
You have all been amazing in following the guidelines to date and I have no doubt that this will continue. If we fail to do this then transmission will be accelerated when the children return to school and cause further challenges for us as we do our very best to keep everyone safe, remain open and carry on providing education and care for your children. The information on the other side is very helpful!
Keep safe and well.
